TEACHING PORTFOLIO

At the start of every academic year, I buy a pint of ice cream and watch an episode of Gilmore Girls ("The Lorelais’ First Day at Yale") the night before classes. You see, despite having been "in school" for decades, I never lose that first-day-of-school giddiness. And one reason I love teaching is, quite frankly, because I love school. I love learning alongside others. I love creating courses, lessons, and assignments. One of my colleagues has described me as 'endlessly inventive,' and that seems all too true. Despite years of experience in education, I remain passionate about constantly reinventing myself as a teacher. So, with that in mind, I have created this portfolio to highlight some of the courses and assignments I have designed. You should also check out my blog for reflections on what I am doing in my classes.
